About

Affordable and Competent Trauma Therapy

History

Brian Clinton was born in Rockville, MD, a busy suburb near Washington D.C. He left his hometown when he was 18 to pursue a bachelors degree in Psychology from Tennessee Temple University. Upon completion of the program he spent 2010 volunteering and traveling with a non-profit organization in Central America. When he came home to Chattanooga from his travels, he attended Richmont Graduate University to study Professional Counseling. While working through the rigorous program, he took some elective courses on trauma. He knew at the moment that trauma counseling was interesting, but he didn't know how essential it would  be to his life's work. Brian's philosophy is that if there is dysfunction, there is trauma. Brian seeks to bring awareness to the source of the dysfunction along with the resolution to be successful and content.

Brian began his private practice during his internship at a local counseling center in 2013 where he worked for free to fulfill the requirement of his educational program. During this period of time, he was able to meet with a financially challenged demographic and was moved with compassion at their lack of access to mental health resources. Brian continues to seek to offer his services at reasonable rate.
